Greeks in the Nordics was created by a group of volunteers who saw the value of a stronger, more connected Greek community in the region. What started as informal meetups has grown into a vibrant network with events, professional hubs, mentorship and resources, bringing together people from different backgrounds and generations.
Today, we continue to grow, driven by the same spirit: to connect Greeks, create opportunities and strengthen our presence across the Nordics.

Our mission is built around three key areas that support the professional, personal and cultural journey of Greeks living, working and studying across the Nordic countries.
We build a strong network of Greek professionals that encourages collaboration, mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Through seminars, workshops and networking events, we aim to equip our members with the knowledge, connections and personal skills needed for career development and professional success.
We create a support system where members can share experiences, practical knowledge and advice, helping make the transition to life in the Nordics easier.
We also provide guidance and useful resources for navigating everyday administrative processes, including areas such as taxation and healthcare, whether moving from Greece to the Nordics or from the Nordics to Greece.
We collaborate with Greek embassies, consulates, cultural institutions and local authorities on initiatives that promote Greek culture, history and traditions.
Through these collaborations, we aim to act as a bridge between Greece and the Nordic countries and help strengthen the relationship between the two regions.
Greeks in the Nordics is powered by a diverse team of volunteers who contribute their experience, expertise and time to the development of the community. Together, the Board, Leads and Execution Team support the organisation’s strategy, partnerships, programmes, events, communications and day-to-day initiatives.
